My husband Craig and I have been married for over 27 years.  We have found much joy in watching our children grow into young adults. We have lived in Corona for about 26 years. 20 of which have in Montecito Ranch.  We are minutes from Temescal Valley Elementary and around the corner from Montecito Ranch Park.

Our daughter, Morgan is 24 years old. She started life in distress with a heart rate of 40, despite a normal pregnancy.  Morgan truly is our miracle child!  From the very beginning it has taken Morgan a little longer to obtain every developmental milestone, when she was 2 years old she was diagnosed with mild Cerebral Palsy.  We started with occupational and physical therapy when Morgan was 9 months old and speech therapy at a year.  Morgan has graduated from Santiago and is attending an adult transition program and is doing remarkably well.  We are so proud to see her run and play, being that the doctors didn’t know if she would even walk!!  Morgan loves to sing and dance and is great with kids and LOVES to play with the little ones!

I’m sharing Morgan’s story with you to let you know as a parent that I understand the struggle for a child with his/her first steps, their struggle to find the “right word” and the child who takes a little longer to learn.  I understand because I have a child that has had to work very hard to obtain every milestone and another child that it was just given to.

Our son, Matthew is 21 years old and is at University California Riverside as an electrical enginerring student. Matthew loves to play the guitar and hang out with friends in addition to his studies.  We are proud of Matthew and his dedication to his education.
